TERRELL COUNTY MEMORIAL MUSEUM

The Terrell County Memorial Museum was originally a home that was owned and occupied by the pioneer Lemons family. Well after Mrs. Lemons dies, her children donated it to the county and it became the Terrell County Museum.

The museum is located on the corner of Second and Mansfield St. Our hours are 10 a.m. till 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The museum features displays such as railroad memorabilia, period costumes, cowboy & ranching relics, tools, pioneer furnishings and mementos of the Terrell County History books.

Something new has been added! We also have a CD-Rom of the Sanderson Newspaper that has information and news on Sanderson and its surroundings, going back to when the newspaper was started.

Call us at 1-432-345-2936 for more information.
